Whats the best way to choose server before building up an website?

First find an website of your kind which you like very much and its performance is also better in your browser and has many people online together.


Say for example i wanna set up an better tech blog on wordpress so im choosinglabnol.org 
Which is an high page rank owned and better traffic tech blog based on wordpress and has better browser performance.

 
So now how to know on which server is labnol.org setup?


For that visit sitonomy.com and there enter labnol.org.
page as below will appear.

From sitonomy.com you can get the information like what kind of technology is used by site ,etc.

From there copy the ip address of the site.

Now visit ip2location.com enter the ip there nd find the location of taht ip.

An page as below will appear.

Now there in black box you can see the server name .
So now only thing you need to do is visit the server website and from there buy the appropriate plan for your site.
